Description
A. The United Nations Logistics Base-Global Service Center (UNLB/GSC) is seeking Expressions of Interest from established and financially-sound companies to establish a long term contract for the provision of the following Facility Maintenance Services for UNSGC/UNSB premises located in Valencia, Spain: 1. Maintenance and repair of various building installations and/or systems and equipment. The installations and/or systems include electrical, HVAC, plumbing and sewage, irrigation, fire protection system, telecommunications, elevators, fuel pumping, access and security installations, irrigation system and premises as outlined in para C. below; 2. Provision of spares for various installations and equipment. B. The Full Maintenance and Repair Service of technical Systems, Installations and Equipment located at the UNGSC/UNSB facility shall consist of, but will be not limited, to: a) Preventive Maintenance, including all the operations required to ensure the correct running of the UNGSC/UNSB facilities in optimal conditions; b) Corrective Maintenance, including all the Repairs necessary to fix anomalies and breakdown of UNGSC/UNSB Systems, Installations and Equipment and facilitate the return to a well-functioning status; c) Legal/Statutory Requirements of equipment Maintenance, including the supervision of some specific installations and the certification by an officially authorised professional, as per regulations in force; d) Additional Services for the Building maintenance, occasionally requested, consisting in: touch paint of internal and external wall, and metal surfaces; restoring and cleaning internal and external plaster wall surface; maintenance of wall and floor tiles; cleaning of roof and drainpipe; maintenance of curtain; and maintenance of doors and windows. C. The facility is described as follows: 1. UNSB-V is a circa 40.500 sqm base with five main buildings: 1.1 OFFICE 1 (circa 1.200 sqm/floor - 2 floors) 1.2 OF2 (circa 1.200 sqm/floor - 2 floors) 1.3 Prefabricated Office (circa 155 sqm/floor – 2 floors) 1.4 Dining Facility (circa 230 sqm) 1.3 Main Operation Building/Data Centre (circ 3.000sqm) 2. Seven (7) minor buildings: 2.1 Access Pavilion-circa 100 sqm 2.2 Warehouse-circa 150sqm 2.3 Garbage Room-circa 30 sqm 2.4 Control Cabin circa 10 sqm 2.5 Gardening pumps and implements Room, 2.6 Energy Centre-including section centre and power generators 2.7 Subscriber Electric Station) 3. Parking of 3,000 sqm, attached to the site, besides the Access Pavilion. D. The contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) periods of one (1) year each, subject to the satisfactory performance of the contractor.
