Provision of Freight Forwarding Service to MINUSTAH, Port au Prince, Haiti

1.0 The United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH), with its headquarters located in Port-au-Prince, is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced and registered companies for the Provision of Freight Forwarding Service for the Shipment of Pre-Fabricated Ablution Units from Ex-Works 73019 Trepuzzi Italy to DAP (Incoterms 2010), Log Yard, Port au Prince, Haiti. 1.1. The prefabicated Ablution Units CANNOT BE LOADED AS SEAFREIGHT CONTAINERS AND CAN NOT BE HANDLED AS STANDARD FREIGHT CONTAINERS. 1.2. The Ablution Units can be moved with a fork lift even if the forks will not go entirely though the fork lift pockets. 1.3 The Ablution Units can be moved with the crane spreader if the crane spreader is used with care avoiding heavy slam insertion, promptly lift up and rude manoeuvres. Please note that even if they have the same dimensions of standard ISO 20" or ISO 10" freight containers, they have not the same hardness since their walls and the roofs are realized with insulated panels instead of robust corrugated steel sheets as in the freight containers and they are not equipped with any CSC plate or certificate or other equivalent. 1.4 On the Ablution Units it is possible to lay on ONLY another Ablution Unit of the same kind during the freight.
