Description
1. The United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) seeks to engage a Company possessing the necessary knowledge, skills, personnel, resources, and experience and to enter into a Long Term Agreement for the maintenance and repair of its ground transport fleet in Abyei, thereby improving the quality of operational use of its fleet of vehicles that includes both light and heavy vehicles and equipment. 2. Vendors who have the capacity to provide the above services are encourged to submit their expression of interest (EOI) by the closing date of 17 July 2025. NOTE: 3. Submission of the EOI does not constitute an obligation by the United Nations to include your company in this specific procurement exercise, neither does it assure that a respective tender exercise will be undertaken in due course. 4. Vendors currently registered at basic level and level 1 in the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) are encouraged to proceed and submit requirements for level 2 registration. 5. To be awarded a contract, a vendor must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the UNGM. Specific Requirements/Information 6. The services include: i. Heavy Workshop: Provide repair and maintenance services to Heavy Engineering Equipment (HEE), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and trucks/trailers and all other heavy vehicles including fire trucks, and a fleet of thirty (30) CASSPIR Mine Protected Armoured Personnel Carriers. ii. Light Vehicle Workshop: Provide repair and maintenance services to Light Passenger Vehicles (LPV) and special vehicles including single cab pickups, ambulances, light buses and armored vehicles etc. iii. Single Workshop handling all vehicle categories: Heavy & Light Vehicles. 7. Details of the requirement will be provided in the solicitation documents to the successfully invited companies.
