Description of the Assignment:  

The assignment involves developing and finalizing a communication and advocacy strategy along with a knowledge management framework for the Integrated Watershed Management project in the Sebapala Sub-Catchment. It includes conducting a document review, producing tailored information and communication materials, and building the capacity of ministry staff to design, implement, and monitor communication and knowledge-sharing initiatives. The consultant will also create user-friendly operational manuals and toolkits to ensure the sustainability of these efforts beyond the project’s lifespan.


Specifically, the exercise objectives are:
  • Develop a comprehensive communication and advocacy strategy and knowledge management framework.
  • Build institutional capacity for strategic communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Produce tailored IEC materials for diverse stakeholders.
  • Establish a costed implementation and monitoring plan.
  • Ensure sustainability through operational manuals and toolkits.

 

Period of assignment :  20 days spread across 2 months
