Dear Sir/Madam,
The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS) is pleased to invite prospective bidders to submit a quoatation to the Provision of a warehouse and management services for UNOPS Afghanistan following the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and the Schedule of Requirements as set out in this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
If you are interested in submitting a quotation in response to this RFQ, please prepare your quotation in accordance with the requirements and process as set out in this RFQ and submit it to UNOPS by the deadline for quotation submission set out in Section I: RFQ Particulars
IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. In order to access the full UNOPS tender details, request clarifications on the tender, and submit a vendor response to a tender using the system, vendors need to be registered as a UNOPS vendor at the UNGM portal and be logged into UNGM. Understanding the complete list of approved equipment will help ensure we meet the specified requirements accurately.Answer to Question No. 1: Thank you for your inquiry regarding the equipment specifications for the RFQ on warehouse and management services.Under “etc” we aim to encompass a variety of equipment that may not be explicitly listed but is commonly used for loading and offloading of containers from the truck. This may include but is not limited to:Container handlers (Based on availability)Side loadersSpecialized lifting devices or attachmentsLoading and offloading safety hazards and precautions We encourage bidders to propose any additional equipment they believe would be suitable and effective for these tasks, provided that it meets safety operational standards.With best regards
