Provision of Regular Express Courier Services to UNISFA (Re-Bid)

1. The United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) is seeking qualified and experienced companies to establish a Long Term Agreement for the provision of Regular Express Courier Services. 2. The sucessful vendor bidder shall provide Regular Diplomatic Courier Services to and from a minimum of 30 countries around the globe as required by UNISFA within the shortest time possible. 3. Interested vendors are required to meet the following international Courier Service standards: i) Facilitate transportation on a door-to-door delivery basis of diplomatic pouches, official mails, and parcels both domestic and international. ii) A valid insurance coverage for all shipments. iii) A securable warehouse to avoid rodent and deterioration of shipment. iv) The necessary packaging materials for fragile shipments. v) A minimum of five (5) years experience in providing international courier services. vi) An online tracking system for all shipments. vii) Quality certification according to international quality management standards. 4. Vendors who have the capacity to meet this requirement are encourged to submit their expression of interest (EOI) by the closing date of 24 December 2024. NOTE: 5. Submission of the EOI does not constitute an obligation by the United Nations to include your company in this specific procurement exercise, neither does it assure that a respective tender exercise will be undertaken in due course. 4. Vendors currently registered at basic level in the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) are encouraged to proceed and submit requirements for level 1 registration. 5. To be awarded a contract, a vendor must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the UNGM.
