New clarification added: Q:1: Page No: 10 Point 2Supports at least 2*100GE(QSFP28) and 2*40G(QSFP+) Supports at least 24*10GE(SFP+) or better configuration.· As per the provided Network diagram There are only Core Switch stack and External Internet Connection. According to the diagram it’s enough having 4-6 interfaces would be sufficient and having another 4-6 interfaces for future growth seems sufficient. What is the exact requirement of having 24 of 10Gbps, 2 of 100Gbps 2 of 40Gbps Interfaces?· As per the diagram servers are communicating each other through core switch and having 40/100 gig interfaces in switches would be enough for inter server communication and stacking. If they are being uplink to the firewall with 40/100 Gig ports, there will be a bottle neck in firewall as there are no ILL or MPLS links with that much bandwidth. There is no rationale for requesting 40/100G ports as per this diagram. What is the use case of having 40/100Gig interfaces in the firewall?· Having this many ports and requested throughput is also controversial which is explained below.2: Page No: 10 Point 11Application controlling, IPS and AV throughput (Enterprise Mix) ≥ 14Gbps;· How has 14Gbps Threat prevention Throughput been calculated? As per the requirement mentioned in the document does not explain this much of through put. And not matching with the port count.· As per the proposed and required port specifications in the bidder’s document, the firewall is expected to handle a total traffic of 520 Gbps (24*10g + 2*100G + 2*40G). To handle this much of traffic 14 Gbps threat prevention throughput is not enough at all.· What is the Internet Link Bandwidth and is it a leased line Connection?· What is the existing User count and Future expansion of Users and Internet Links.3: Page 5 Point 49, Page 07 Point 52, Page 9 Point 58, Page 11 Point 37, Page 13 Point 1, Page 16 Point 1,Proposed brand must be in the leader Quadrant in latest Gartner’s Magic Quadrant.· as the bidders document asking the Solution Should be in Leader or Challenger in Latest Gartner's for Firewall and Network Switches and the SAN Storage is only asking leader in the last Garner report.· What is the rational of allowing challenger also to come in to the picture for firewall and switches and rejecting in SAN storage?4: Page No: 6 Point 1Each switch must have Equal ormorethan6x40GE QSFP ports, upgradable to 6x100GEandminimumof48x10GSFP+ports· The diagram states that the core switch in the Data Center needs a total of 4 ports to fulfil this requirement. However, the bidding documents indicate a total of 54 ports. What are the reasons for this discrepancy?5: Page No: 4 Point 7,8Port Configuration Requirements ≥640/100GEoptical ports, Number of10GEoptical ports≥48· The diagram states that the TOR switch in the Data Center needs a total of 5 ports to fulfil this requirement. However, the bidding documents indicate a total of 54 ports. What are the reasons for this discrepancy?6: Page No: 8 Point 1, Point 2Have minimum 48x10/100/1000Base-T 2, Up stream port Have minimum 4 10GESFP+ports· The diagram states that the management switch in the Data Center needs a total of 4 ports to fulfil this requirement. However, the bidding documents indicate a total of 52 ports. What are the reasons for this discrepancy?7: Page No: 6 Point 1, Page No: 4 Point 7,8, Page No: 8 Point 1, Point 2· How many 10GE, 40GE and 100GE transceiver modules use this requirement?8: Page No: 6 Point 37Support Stacking, with 80G stacking bandwidth upgradable to 200G· Is the requirement to use DAC cables for stacking core switches?A:The diagram provided is simply a highlevel illustration for bidders to visualise the overall context. Bidder is advised to adhere to the given technical specification at a minimum.Given specifications are as per the end-user requirements. Bidder is advised to adhere to the given technical specifications at a minimum.Rationale for the SAN manufacturer to be in the leader quandrant is, SAN is a more critical component than firewall, switches. However, it s observed that the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant has been published and that Gartner has changed the definition of Primary Storage Platform. Accordingly Bidders are advised to / directed to the 2023 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage. In terms of the number of trascivers please refer to point 25 under General Requirements.

Must use supply chain transparency and assurance using Intel Transparent Supply Chain program - Is it possible for the server vendor to propose this program directly?24. Must be listed in a x86 server reliability survey done by a recognized third-party organisation - What is the reason for requesting this survey from a third-party organization instead of the server vendor?A: 5.
