Description

Using multiple channels, in targeted locations, the campaign will use simple, powerful messaging that speaks to the positive impact of play for children and their communities, to inform and influence parents, caregivers, ECD practitioners and society more broadly.

Campaign Goals
1.  Parents and caregivers are exposed to and inspired by the ‘Power of Play 2.0’ campaign to increase quality play time with their children.

In particular, and by the end of the ‘Power of Play 2.0’ campaign:

▪  Seven million parents and caregivers – two million of which are ‘at risk’ – are reached.
▪ Ten-thousand parents and caregivers access learning-through-play and parenting resources.
▪ Two thousand ‘at risk’ parents and caregivers are engaged on the importance of the power of play.
▪ Two thousand ‘at risk’ parents and caregivers are encouraged to commit to more quality play time with their children.

Primary Audience


1.  Parents and caregivers, particularly of children who are less likely to attend ECDs and are less likely to engage in active play with their children.
