Identification of a National Firm/Organization for Documentary on the GLOF-II Project’s Early Warning Systems (EWS)
Scope of Work:
Under the overall guidance of the National Project Director, the Assistant Resident Representative -RECCU (UNDP), the supervision of the National Project Manager, and in consultation with the Communication and Reporting Officer GLOF II, Provincial Project Coordinators and Field Officers, the consulting firm/ organization/ company will perform the following (but not limited to) the following tasks:
1. Develop a detailed production plan in consultation with the GLOF-II Communications team. This should include all sites in the 24 Project valleys to be visited against a given timeline.
2. Develop and finalize script, storyboard and shooting schedule of the documentary, showcasing project interventions as outlined by the project team
3. Use info-motions and graphics to highlight the statistics.
4. Provide English subtitles for content originally in Urdu or other local languages, and vice versa, offer captions/subtitles in the local language as well as an alternative in English.
5. Share a draft or first cut of web/documentary with a minimum resolution of minimum 4k or higher and a duration of at least 20 minutes (4 episodes of 5 mins each) for the GLOF-II Project teams review and comments.
6. Shorter version of the documentary to be shared with the team for their review.
7. After incorporating the input and comments and feedback from the Project, UNDP and other stakeholders; develop final web/documentary and submit copies to the GLOF-II Project team to be showcased at Pakistan’s pavilion on COP28.
8. High-resolution photographs from the field with complete captions (approximately 200-300 HD photographs of the Project Valleys and of the community members being positively impacted by the Project’s interventions on a USB drive and an electronic link.
