New clarification added: Question 13: We kindly request you to extend the deadline for submitting bids by one week.Answer: Please note that we can not extend more as this RFQ is under emergency procurement process.Question 14: Could you please confirm that the material of the Single Ferrule Outlet on PE Pipes is Polypropylene (PP)?Answer: Please refer to the RFQ specification , BoQ and drawing .Question 15: Please make sure of the specified implementation period for the project. New clarification added: Question 12: Regarding the amendment, have you deleted the pump item? It has been shown to us that it has been deleted. Please confirm.Answer: Please be advised that the pump item has been clearly indicated with a strikethrough format, signifying its removal from the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and confirming that it will not be included.

New amendment added #2: This amendment was raised to upload the updated Annex 1 - Bill_of_Quantity_Amendment_14-Aug-2024. As per the technical specialist’s recommendation.

New clarification added: Question 8: During our field visit to the project site (Dawran Anis), we had some inquiries that needed clarification, which are as follows:8.1- It turned out that the slopes are steep and require large amounts of cutting and backfilling at a depth of 6-7 meters , not as mentioned in the profile, as the DI ductile pipes do not allow a deviation of more than 15 degrees.Answer: The profail was based on site topographic survey, However as per the RFQ spec the pipeline excavation alignment shall be optimized based on ground conditions, considering slope. The pipeline shall be installed using appropriate fittings, such as; DI bends (e.g., 11°, 22°, 45°, 90°), and couplings.8.2- It turned out that the tank level is higher than the city and there is no need to install a horizontal pump, nor is there a power source to operate it.Answer: Thank you for your comment and an amendment will be published soon. 8.3- It turned out that there is a flow line in excellent condition, and if it is necessary to install a pipe, it is preferable to install a new galvanized pipe with the same diameter of 150 mm, and it does not require backfill the iron pipes.Answer:  Please refer to the RFQ documents (scope of work, drawing, technical specs, BoQ, and …etc)  Question 9: Regarding No. (6) including (pumping unit)We went to the market for pump dealers and agents and did not obtain these specifications due to the lack of specifications with the same production capacity of 90 liters/secondIs it possible to provide 2 pumps with a production capacity of 45 liters/s? New clarification added: Question 1: Based on the documents and drawings, there is a shortage of pipe profiles—only 2368 meters are available. Could you please provide us with the remaining profiles?Additionally, kindly attach the details of the gate valve boxes.Answer: Yes exactly the profile is given for the main pipe (DN:200and DN150 ) while the distribution network should be implemented  as per the plan drawing and tech specs and BoQ.  Please refer to the drawing  STANDARD DETAILS for WASHOUTS chamber .Question 2: Please clarify exactly what you want in the Document name: Signed and stamped all RFQ documents field.Answer: It means that you should sign and stamp all the RFQ returnable forms in addition to all annexes . including BoQ , scope ,drawing ,technical specs, …etc.
