Pre-bid alert: UNGM registration will be required for male condom testing bid

This pre-bid alert is published in relation to an upcoming tender for male condom testing services. The tender is tentatively scheduled for publishing in the second half of November 2013, with a deadline in the beginning of 2014.

Please note that bidders will need to be registered on UNGM in order to submit offers in response to the tender. This is necessary because UNFPA is introducing a new electronic bidding system. Please note that registration on UNGM is necessary from a technical standpoint, it is not an eligibility criteria for participation in the tender. Eligibility criteria will be published with the tender.

Registration on UNGM does not constitute bid submission. Rather, it is the first step required to enable bid submission.

There is no deadline for registration on UNGM - bidders can register at any point prior to the bid deadline and submit a bid. However, we encourage interested bidders to start their registration now in order to avoid last-minute issues with registration that could jeopardize submitting their offers prior to the deadline.
