RFP-2024-30 Consultancy to provide technical support to the UNAIDS-PEPFAR Faith Initiative implementation

Description :The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to carry out tasks of the technical support to the UNAIDS-PEPFAR Faith Initiative implementation.
Duration: October 2024 – 30 September 2025

The purposes of the Consultancy are:
1. To provide technical assistance to Implementing Partners and other relevant stakeholders on implementation of their activities in the focus countries and at the global level.
o Follow-up to the 2023-2024 Interfaith events, including: implementation of the FBO action plans in support of the national AIDS strategies, Framework for Dialogue, 2024 Inter-Faith Conference, UNGA Faith engagement events, High-Level Dialogue on paediatric HIV and TB, International Consultation on the role of Faith partners in providing HIV/health services in humanitarian emergencies.
o Organization of the Community Prayer Breakfast on the sideline of the UN General Assembly high-level segment in September 2025.
o Organization of activities (campaigns, webinars, training) within the Interfaith Health Platform.
o Support to relevant Faith partners events/initiatives and their involvement in global and regional conferences.
o Guidance on HIV-related technical areas, input in the implementation of existing tools and strategies.
o Documenting impact.

2. To provide technical assistance in the coordination of the activities led by the I&P/UNAIDS Faith Engagement Adviser and the UNAIDS Washington Office, and their reporting:
o Support in organization and chairing of the Interfaith Health Platform Core Group meetings.
o Management of the Interfaith Health Platform website.
o Assistance with the reporting of the implemented activities.
o Input in relevant documents, briefings and talking points for the UNAIDS senior representatives.
o Guidance to other consultants and Faith partners of the response.
