Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor for a one year period (starting August/September 2024) to oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of a project to support countries, in varying degrees of support based on country context, to have a Sustainability Roadmap in place in 2025; ensuring the achievement of project goal, objectives, and deliverables within the specified timeframe and budget.

Responsibilities:
• Develop a detailed project workplan and budget, implement plan and budget in alignment with its monitoring and evaluation framework.
● Motivate project team, providing guidance, direction, and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery.
● Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, propose corrective actions and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
● Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, in particular team members and relevant internal and external task teams, and key partners such as PEPFAR and Global Fund, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of efforts.
● Manage project budget, expenses, and resources, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effective utilization of project funds.
● Prepare and present regular project status reports, updates, and evaluations to senior management and other internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into project performance, achievements, and challenges.
● Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the project team, promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
● Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, donor expectations and standards, and processes, including documentation, and quality assurance procedures.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, escalations, and issues, facilitating timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
● Evaluate project outcomes against established success criteria and key performance indicators, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for future improvement.
