An LTA is a written contract between a Contractor (business, company or firm) and FAO, that is established for specific goods or services at prescribed prices or pricing provisions against which specific purchase orders can be placed at any time during the defined period and with no legal obligation to order any minimum or maximum quantity. If agreed by FAO and the Contractor, the LTA can be used by other Agencies, Funds or Programmes of the United Nations (UN).
