Implementation of one single Integrated Access Control System (IACS) at the two (2) two UNGSC locations in Brindisi (Italy) and Valencia (Spain).

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) ensures efficient and effective peacekeeping operations through its core logistic, geospatial, information and telecommunications technology services. UNGSC is based in Brindisi (Italy) and Valencia (Spain) and follows an active-active redundant model. To perform its operations in a secure and controlled environment, the UNGSC requires the implementation of one single Integrated Access Control System (IACS) to protect, secure and monitor access to its: • Offices and Premises • Data Centres • Data Centre cabinets • Parking area in Valencia. The service shall include: a) the removal of existing access control readers: please note that only the second generation of existing access control readers can be reused in the new IACS system; b) the provision and installation of new access control readers and sensors, all hardware, software, etc. Please note that the IACS system will be installed in two consecutive phases: the first phase at UNICTF, Valencia and the second phase at UNGSC, Brindisi; c) system integration at the two locations: the integration test will be carried out upon completion of installations at both locations; d) system configuration; e) comprehensive warranty for all parts, labour, software, and hardware provided as part of their Integrated Access Control System (IACS) solution at each location; f) preventive maintenance, On‐call technical support, On‐site support and Urgent on-site support services for each UNGSC site (Brindisi and Valencia). The IACS requirement encompasses the following: 1. Access Control Management Software/Application • Building Access System • Rack Access Control System • Parking access control system. 2. Access Control Hardware • Building Access System • Rack Access Control System • Parking access control system. 3. Installation Service • Building Access System • Rack Access Control System • Parking access control system.
