UNECA organizes Knowledge Fairs alongside UNECA’s major events, such as Africa Business Forum 2024, Africa Regional Forum for Sustainable Development ARFSD 2024, Conference of Minsters COM 2024 and others. The goal of the planned Knowledge Fairs is to demonstrate the role that ECA, with its partners, playing toward achieving the SDG 20230 agendas and the progress that is being achieved so far in the African continent by demonstrating countries’ experiences and providing opportunities for learning and collaborations. This call is seeking for a service provider to perform content development for the different Knowledge Fairs planned alongside ECA major events, helping ECA subprogrammes telling their story and sharing their knowledge in an attractive, and easy to understand way. Working in close collaboration with EXPO Knowledge Fair Taskforce(s), the services provider will undertake the following responsibilities but unlimited to: 1.Liaise with knowledge and communications teams to design the theme(s) for the various templates for the content materials of the planned knowledge fairs. 2.Provide services for content development for the planned knowledge fairs ranging from strategic communications, campaign and event design, graphic design & infographics, social media content, PowerPoint and Prezi presentations, and advising on the best way for digital content development. 3.Develop exhibition material in various formats ranging from interactive videos (videos for each Subprogramme/theme with duration of 2 minutes each), posters size 1x2 or 1x3 meters (for each booth/Subprogramme/theme), illustrations, animations, etc. requested from the ECA Subprogrammes. Number of videos and posters will vary from one event to another. 4.Propose and discuss with respective Subprogramme teams the suitable exhibition format based on the materials provided (content presentation, best use of case studies, visual elements, etc.) and the overall theme of the hosting event. 5.Review all necessary background materials and documents relevant to the production of the Exhibition materials, 6.Identify and select appropriate artwork/Photos/infographics/charts etc. to accompany the Subprogramme stories, and other content for the planned events 7.Liaise with Communications Section to develop a communication strategy and branding for the planned Knowledge Fair. 8.Prepare layout of the exhibition area showing space allocation for each subprogramme/ booth for each event. 9.Provide advice to other service providers (e.g., event management service provider) during set-up and during the exhibition period.
