Description

1. The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a solicitation it intends to issue for the required services or goods described below.

2. Vendors interested in fulfilling the above requirements must be registered with UNOG and may wish to visit [<a href="/80256EDD006AC19C/(httpPages)/FBEF95323FCF1B76C12576EE0037B038?OpenDocument" target="_blank">] "UNOG Vendor Registration Process" [</a>] for full registration information in order to be eligible to participate in any solicitation.

3. Required services or goods are the following:

The project includes the conversion of the gDoc backend code from uniPasS 1.9 to Microsoft ASP.net.

The code consists of about 350 batch programs written in uniPaS 1.9. These programs contain embedded SQL statements for MS SQL Server DB to access information from the gDoc database. The output of most of these programs is in JSON to serve the gDoc UI written in EXT JS.

4. Specific information (if any) (e.g.: pre-evaluation or pre-requisite criteria, certification, etc.):
The outcome of the proof of concept has to fulfill the following:

  • Successfully pass the compilation and build processes.
  • Bug free.
  • The code will be installed in a hosting environment that UNOG will provide.
  • Using ASP.net MVC platform of version 4 and above.
  • Based on the “Entity Framework” version 5.
  • Using the C# programing language.
  • Completed within the provided window of 3 months.
