Provision of Repair and Maintenance Services including Spare Parts for UNAMI Airfield Refueller ...

1. United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for the Repair and Maintenance Services including Spare Parts for UNAMI Airfield Refueller Trucks at Baghdad International Airport (BIAP), Baghdad, Iraq. The UNAMI Airfield Refueller Fleet comprises of Renault Kerax 16,000 ltrs and Renault Midlum 4,000 ltrs. 2. The requirements will include, but not limited to, the followings: a) Provide "A", "B" and "C" maintenance. b) Provide Spare Parts for the maintenance and repair services. c) Provide Spare Parts upon request. d) Provide on-site repair and maintenance services. e) Provide fleet recovery services. f) Repair/maintain and calibrate aviation fuel delivery system. g) Certification of contanimation free fuel delivery system. 3. UNAMI intends to award a contract for one (1) year, with the option to extend for four (4) additional one (1) year period at UNAMI's discretion under the same terms and conditions, subject to extension of UNAMI mandate, availability of funds and satisfactory performance by the prospective contractor. 4. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and issue accordingly an Invitation to Bid (ITB) with SOW, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. 5. In addition, the interested companies (New Vendors Only) will be requested to complete a UNAMI Vendor Registration Form. To obtain this Form, please contact UNAMI as per the above details. 6. Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for ITB document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
