Supply and Installation of Road Blocker at ESCAP premises, Bangkok, Thailand

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, Thailand is seeking a qualified company that supplies and installs the minimum K4-rated surface-installed type of road blocker at the Ceremonial Gate-In (CGI), Main Vehicle Gate (MG) – In & Out and Delegates Vehicle way (DV) to enhance protection from hostile vehicle ramming. Relevant works involve general road excavation and refurbishment at the surrounding area of the road blockers to make good the existing conditions, such as concrete and asphalt repairs. A flat type road blocker is required because of structural restrictions, the slab limits the thickness of the roadblocker to 500mm. The required rating of the road blocker is K4, M30 or equivalent and should meet the standard of ASTM F2656, PAS68 or IWA14-1.
