Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable consultant to provide management and support to implementing partners to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the DFAT and USAID funded programmes managed through the UNAIDS Country Office (UCO) in Papua New Guinea. The consultant will work under the direct guidance, leadership, and supervision of the UNAIDS Country Director (UCD).

 

The Technical Adviser is expected to have the following tasks:

1.             Support the implementing teams - KPAC, FHI360, CCM Secretariat, and the NSHS Team - monitor implementation progress (at least monthly progress monitoring), adjust workplan (activity adjustments as needed), and guide activity implementation (as needed)

2.             Provide the UCD regular progress updates (at least monthly, ideally weekly) on the DFAT/ USAID programme implementation

3.             Provide UCD and the implementing team strategic advise to achieve efficiency (timely) and effectiveness (targets met) of DFAT and USAID programme implementation

 

Duration of the work: This consultant will be required to work for max of 15 days per month in the period 15 September 2023 – 30 June 2024
