SALW Awareness Raising Campaign in BiH
UNDP seeks to identify a service provider to complete relevant research, audience profiling, segmentation for selection of appropriate messaging and conceptualization of the overall public campaigns. Once proposed concept of the campaigns is accepted and approved by UNDP, the service provider shall implement campaigns per UNDP’s calendar. The campaigns shall be comprehensive and structured to implement general awareness raising (planned throughout the year addressing identified target groups).
General awareness raising activities within the project PILLAR are planned to take place in the format of combined 360 campaigns with an aim to contribute to general awareness raising during the following periods in 2023 and 2024:
- 28 April – 20 June 2023
- 18 September – 15 November 2023, and
- 1 February – 15 March 2024.
Complementary to general awareness raising campaigns, UNDP will continue with the implementation of focused awareness raising campaigns in cooperation with the BiH SALW Coordination Board and relevant law enforcement agencies building on the activities already developed and conducted in 2021 and 2022 (addressing “Celebratory shootings” around New Year holiday season and awareness raising in the high schools among juvenile population addressing illicit possession and misuse of SALW). These campaigns will respectively take place in December 2023 and April-May 2023.
