Sale of surplus assets at the UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) will shortly conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the disposal via commercial sale of surplus assets located at the UNGSC in Brindisi, Italy. The commercial sale will comprise of one (1) lot as follows: Lot #1: Five (5) ARMORED VEHICLE TOYOTA LAND CRUISER – Total weight 17,850 (KG) Important Note: all the vehicles included in Lot 1 must be destroyed by the successful buyer and will be sold as SCRAP METAL. The destruction shall be witnessed by a UN representative. Full technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with the solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI. However, it should be noted that the goods are being sold on “as-is, where-is” basis, and without recourse or warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Potential buyers are invited to express their interest by returning the Vendor Response Form via email to unlb-procurement@un.org no later than the EOI’s Closing Date.
