Description

The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to identify suitable CSOs for a potential partnership with UNICEF Thailand to facilitate a set of capacity-building workshops on adolescent and young people participation during the period June 2022 to December 2023, on behalf of UNICEF. The workshop participants will be policy makers and young people themselves. Selected CSOs will participate in a Training of Trainers workshop facilitated by Aflatoun International and UNICEF Thailand on 20 to 23 June 2022 in Bangkok. For more detail, please find the word document enclosed.

Only those organizations that have a track record in providing capacity building or training workshops to policy makers and young people and have a solid background in child and youth development (particularly child and youth participation), should submit their proposals.

Organizations that wish to participate in this expression of interest are requested to send a technical proposal marked ‘CBOs/NGOs Expression of Interest:  Facilitating Capacity building Workshops on Adolescent and Young People’s Participation' to the following address: unicefthailand@unicef.org by May 20, 2022. Any request for additional information should be addressed in writing by May 10 to the same email address. CBOs/NGOs can only submit their interest as individual entities. Applications must be submitted in the English language.

Submissions will be assessed by UNICEF to identify CSOs with the mandate, expertise, and comparative advantage to conduct capacity building workshops on adolescent and young people's participation.

It should be noted that participation in this Expression of Interest does not guarantee the CSO will be selected for a partnership with UNICEF. Selected CSOs will be invited to work collaboratively with UNICEF on a Joint Programme Document and funding proposals in accordance with programme criteria and applicable policy and procedures on UNICEF partnership with CSOs, including programme, financial and PSEA risk assessments. Please see the details on this link: https://www.unicef.org/partnerships/procedure-programme-implementation-partnerships

Applicant CSOs will be informed of the outcome of their submissions by communication sent out to the e-mail that is indicated in their submission.
