Description
1. The United Nations International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (UN-IRMCT) Arusha Branch is seeking Expressions of Interests (EOI) from internet service providers (ISP) duly licensed by the Tanzania Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) to provide internet services as outlined below for a maximum term of five (5) years. 1.1 A dedicated broadband fiber optic internet connection, with a minimum capacity of 200 Mbps/200 Mbps (Uplink/Downlink) with a mandatory latency of <150 Mbps to Europe specifically Netherlands servers. This internet connectivity shall be capable of, at a minimum, the following types of data traffic: • Electronic Mail (e-mail) • World Wide Web (WWW) • File Transfer Protocol (FTP) • Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) • H.323 • SIP • Video streaming • Virtual Private Network (VPN) 1.2 A full-time, standby redundancy/shadow link (hereby defined as the Backup Link) with automatic failover capability in the event of failure of the Primary Link; this Backup Link shall have a minimum capacity of 200 Mbps/200Mbps (uplink/downlink). 1.3 A multiple uplink carrier-grade connectivity to the Internet backbone and a fully functional Point of Presence in Arusha manned with 24/7 Network Operations Center and should be capable of dispatching a technician to the IRMCT office to resolve technical issues witihin 2 hours from the time the problem is reported. A more detailed of the terms of reference will be provided in the solicitation documents. Please note that responding to the EOI does not guarantee your company will be invited to the forthcoming tender that will be issued. A list of companies to be invited will be established subsequent to the reivew and analyses of the responses to this EOI exercise.
