Description
1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the maintenance of the Photovoltaic Systems in UNFICYP. 2. There are three Photovoltaic Systems installed within UNFICYP's island-wide locations, as follows: - Nicosia (Blue Beret Camp BBC1) - System size: 150-kWp, ground mounted, Number of panels: 528, Type: Yingli Solar - 285Wp, Number of inverters: 8, Type SMA - Sunny Tripower STP 20000TL-30, with one SMA cluster controller, one SMA energy meter and distribution board. - Nicosia (Blue Beret Camp BBC3) - System size: 250-kWp, ground mounted, Number of panels 834, Type: JA Solar - 300Wp, Number of inverters: 12, Type: SMA - Sunny Tripower STP 20000TL-30, with one SMA cluster controller, one SMA energy meter and distribution boards - Famagusta (Camp General Stefanik / CGS) - Off grid System size: 100-kWp, ground mounted, Number of panels: 364, Type: Yingli Solar -275Wp (on the ground), Number of inverters: 5, Type: SMA - Sunny Tripower STP 20000TL-30, with 12 battery inverters, Type: SMA - Sunny Island S16.0H, 96 Sealed Batteries, Type: GFM 2V 3000 Ah, with one SMA cluster controller, one SMA energy meter and distribution boards. 3. Maintenance services shall be performed periodically and include, system checks and the cleaning of equipment within the Systems Technical Rooms, Panels DC/AC - Inverter - String, Photovoltaic Panels, Electrical Connections and Battery packs. The resultant Contract shall also cover the provision of Emergency Call-Out Services, assessment of the systems performance, improvement projects and the overall monitoring of the systems and corresponding reports. 4. Interested vendors shall have the opportunity to attend a site visit, as part of the solicitation exercise. 5. The resulting contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend at UNFICYP's sole option, for a maximum of two (2) additional periods of up to one (1) year each (3+1+1 years). The Contract is anticipated to commence during the fourth quarter of 2022 6. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Form of this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date above. 7. The Vendor Response Form is also available in our website www.unficyp.org. 8. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. Please note that Vendors have to be registered at Level 1 at the time of the award. 9. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Interested vendors are strongly recommended to submit the required documentation at the United Nations Global Marketplace at www.ungm.org for Level 1 registration.
