Description

The truck interventions will be able to provide the following:

• A mobile, multimedia platform for the screening of selected localized communication content and assets, including video stories, short video messages/public services announcements and static message screens/billboards, as well as a megaphone for live announcements.

• An on-site technical support service to ensure the relevant communication material is loaded timeously and screened as required in specific locations, on specific routes and at specific times, to ensure that key communication content reaches the intended audiences and communities.

• A skilled driver and back up team, to coordinate with ground support teams, ensure planned travel routes are followed, and all relevant protocols observed (road safety, COVID prevention etc.).

• A mobile platform for the promotion and delivery of health services on the ground, including vaccine registration, HIV/TB testing, immunization, growth monitoring, nutrition, and other services.

• A mobile platform for the promotion and delivery of education and child protection services, including priority areas like violence against children, positive parenting, safe parks, and more, as determined in consultation with programme sections.

• A project management service to link the truck visit and route planning with the local organising and mobilization processes, which will be agreed to in advance with districts and communities targeted.

• A reporting service, to monitor implementation and provide feedback on estimated numbers of people reached by the messaging, based on truck route and local population.
