Catering Services (Restaurants and Café shops)

Description of Requirement The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a mandate to support the implementation of the Security Council Resolution 1701. As part of the Mission’s support program, UNIFIL is seeking Expression of Interests from: Professionals in the restaurant industry for setting up and managing up to 3 restaurants and 2 Cafe Service shops inside the Naqoura Headquarters. Restaurant services shall include an “a la carte” menu during meal hours, and a fixed lunch buffet and be opened throughout the day for coffee shop service to provide beverages and light snacks outside scheduled meal times. Café services shall include a coffee shop service serving beverages and light snacks. The United Nations wishes to identify companies that have the capacity to provide such goods and/or services to UNIFIL with projected troop strength of approximately 15,000. Expressions of interest shall include: (a) Company Profile; (b) List of previously completed and current contracts including volume and value of each contract; and (c) Company’s latest Financial Statement and a Certified Audit thereof. Interested companies shall submit such Expression of Interest and supporting documentations by courier service, fax or email to reach the above-mentioned address not later than close of business 21 February 2011.
