PROVISION OF INTERNT SERVICES TO UNITED NATIONS INTERIM SECURITY FORCE IN ABYEI (UNISFA)

1. UNISFA intends to acquire high speed Internet service through Satellite Internet Service Provider (ISP) to administer and manage its enterprise level Data Communication System. It should facilitate a standard platform to access various UN-hosted corporate systems / applications those are necessary for UNISFA to efficiently perform its mandated task as well as for typical personal uses. 3. The scope shall include providing required amount of Internet Bandwidth with high availability Satellite Earth Station/VSAT infrastructure necessary at seven (7) geographically dispersed locations at Mission Headquarters (HQ), Sector HQ, Team Sites (TS) and Liaison Office in different regions of Sudan and alongside the international border between Sudan and South Sudan. 4. UNISFA is comprised of four (4) Administrative Regions as follows: a. AAA with primary Mission HQ located in Abyei. b. Northern Region with JBVMM HQ located in Kadugli. c. Eastern Region with JBVMM Sector HQ that will be located in Malakal. d. Western Region with JBVMM Sector HQ located in Gok Machar.
