To support RMNCAH secretariat and sub-committees to strengthen “people-centred” integrated service delivery on maternal and newborn care
BACKGROUND
WHO has been supporting the national RMNCAH committee to strengthen “people-centred” integrated service delivery. Through mid-term review of the National Strategy and Action Plan for Integrated Services on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health 2016-2025 (the RMNCAH strategy), the strategic shift from programme-based approach to people centred approach was proposed in order to minimize missed opportunity. Currently the RMNCAH strategy is under revision, and the MOH plans to have a dissemination meeting for the revised RMNCAH strategy in 2021. WHO was requested by the national RMNCAH committee secretariat to provide technical support on dissemination and operationalization of the “people-centred” integrated service delivery based on the revised strategy.
