Subscription to English-language style guide

Background and objectives: The Documentation Division at DGACM provides editing services in the six official languages (Arabic, English, French, Chinese, Russian, Spanish). To support the editing of parliamentary documentation, the UN intends to subscribe to one or more reputable English-language style guides. It needs a comprehensive, detailed reference for editors and proofreaders that can provide sound, reliable advice in areas in which the United Nations Editorial Manual is silent. Topics covered should include (a) charts and graphs, (b) the preparation of publications, (c) style and usage and (d) source citations. The style guide should be (e) widely used in publishing and editorial circles and be a long-respected authority in the field.
