The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) located in Brindisi (Italy) is seeking a qualified company for the establishment of a long-term contract for the supply and delivery of the following categories of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Workshop Kits: Description Sample of items to be included Estimated quantity in the Kit over 5 yrs IT Workshop Kit Digital multimeter, crimping tool, 10 fusion splicer machine, portable external hard drive, fiber optic patch cord, cable ties Comms. Workshop Kit Soldering/desoldering station, 10 coaxial cable, crimp connector, barrel adaptor General Purpose Kit Glue, silicon, PVC tape, lubricant, 10 electrical insulated terminal kit, glue gun drill, screwdriver, grinding machine, pliers, socket wrenches, battery charger, hammer, riveter, portable compressor Description Sample of items to be included Estimated quantity in the Kit over 5 yrs Safety Climbing Kit Full body work position and fall arrest harness, 10 ventilated helmet, energy absorber, self-breaking descender, oval-shaped carabiner, rope, swing-sided emergency pulled, safety signs, barricade tapes • All tools included in a kit shall comply with International safety codes, rules, regulations, and at minimum one of the following standards: ASTM, DIN, ASME, ISO, EUROCODE, BS EN, CE • Proposers must demonstrate that their Company has been established for more than three (3) years at the time of the tender submission’s deadline, including having previous experience in supply similar items in the past three years. • Consideration for contract award shall be given to Proposers found technically compliant for a minimum of 80% of the items per kit. • Proposers will be requested to submit an offer on FCA (named place of delivery identified by the Proposer) basis (Incoterms 2010). In addition, Proposers will be requested to provide, for each type of ICT Kit, the freight cost for one full 20’ ISO sea container from FCA named place of delivery to door UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy (Incoterms 2010). • Delivery time will be mandatorily between 60 and 90 calendar days (depending on the order quantity) from Purchase Order issuance. • All materials/elements/components proposed must have a minimum of one (1) year warranty A split award may be considered. Delivery Terms: Free Carrier (FCA) named place/nearest port of exit, or Delivery at Place (DAP), UNGSC, Brindisi (Italy), Incoterms 2010 The contract term shall be for an initial period of two (2) years, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the term of the contract for three (3) additional periods of one year each (2+1+1+1). The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the EOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.
