RFQ - Banking Service to the UNDP Projects Office in Poland, Warsaw

REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

FOR THE PROVISION OF BANKING SERVICES TO UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (UNDP) PROJECTS OFFICE IN POLAND (WARSAW)

1.0             GENERAL

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued by UNDP Bratislava Regional Center with its headquarters in Bratislava (35, Grosslingova street, Bratislava 81109, Slovak Republic).

2.0             PURPOSE

The purpose of this RFQ is the submission of all-inclusive proposals for the provision of banking services in Warsaw, Poland for the planned period from 1^st January 2011 to 31^st December 2013 with an option for extension of the contract for additional periods.

3.0             REQUEST FOR QUOTATION  CONTENTS

This RFQ consists of the following parts:

               Annex A               Information required by the Financial Institution

               Annex B               Fees, Charges and Rates

               Annex C               Confirmation of Undertaking

               Annex D               UNDP General Conditions of Contract

               Annex E UNDP Model Banking Agreement

 

4.0             REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

 

4.1             Please note that this document is an RFQ and not an Invitation to Bid (ITB).  You should also note that the terms, conditions and specifications set forth in the RFQ, and your Proposal, would form part of any contract should UNDP accept your Proposal. The contract will require full compliance with all statements and representations made in the Proposal.  Failure to fully comply may prejudice the evaluation of your Proposal.  Any contract resulting from the RFQ will also be subject, where applicable to the UNDP General Conditions of Contract (Annex D).

4.2             Please provide, in English, your proposal, supporting information and details of charges requested.

4.3             It is understood this RFQ is confidential and proprietary to UNDP.

4.4             It is understood that the selection of the bank is at the sole discretion of UNDP.

 

5.0             DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION

 

The deadline for receipt of the submission to the UNDP is 10 December 2010 by 17:00 Bratislava time.

THE TENDER DEADLINE WAS EXTENDED UNTIL 10 DECEMBER 2010 BY 17:00 BRATISLAVA TIME.

THE TENDER DEADLINE IS FURTHER EXTENDED UNTIL JANUARY 10, 2011 BY 17:00 CET.
