EOI - School Combined Desk

CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, plans to solicit suppliers for the supply of 1800 School Combined Desk as per the following specification.

Framework constructed of RHS 25 x 25 x 1.2mm welded and enameled with gray synthetic paint

Top and shelf of 16mm chip wood laminated with 3mm quality plywood on both sides. Framed with 10mm block wood strips all round painted with two coats of lacquer or varnish.

Seat of 22 mm clock wood. All wooden parts sanded and painted with two coats of lacquer or varnish. Top and seat fitted to the framework with 10 –m 6 x 55 long bolts and nuts. Shelf attached with 4 x 40 mm wood screws. Flat iron reinforcement bar fastened to the framework with 4 – m 6 X 50 and to the wooden parts with 2 – m 6 x 35 mm long bolts and nuts.

UNDP Ethiopia requests expressions of interest from potential companies considered as having the legal status as an independent contractor.

Description of Minimum Requirement:

A potential supplier should fulfill the following minimum requirements. 

• Five years of experience in the industry
• Submit audited financial report of the last two years to demonstrate financial stability of the firm
• Sales volume: over two million Birr per year
• Company profile: indicating current corporate customers
• Prior experience with International and UN agencies is desirable

UNDP will shortly be issuing a comprehensive solicitation document to those firms that fulfill the above minimum requirements.
