Description
The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS) is pleased to invite competent Bidders to submit their respective competitive Bids for the Establishment of a Long Term Agreement (LTA) for the Provision of Vehicle Rental Services for all Regional States in Ethiopia except Somali Regional State; Ethiopia in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and “Schedule of Requirements” herein uploaded under file ITB_Section_II_Schedule of Requirements. The tender is divided into Eight LOTS:
- LOT I: 4WD Vehicles
- LOT II: 4WD Pick Up
- LOT III: Mini-bus (minimum 12 seats capacity)
- LOT IV: Midi-bus (minimum 30 seats capacity)
- LOT V: Truck (minimum 3 ton capacity)
- LOT VI: Truck (minimum 8 ton capacity)
- LOT VII: Truck (10 to 12 ton Capacity)
- LOT VIII: Sedan Car (5 Seat Automobile)
IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. Vehicle rental
New clarification added: Dear Bidder; Greetings from UNOPS Ethiopia! We hereby extends our gratefulness for your interest on the captioned ITB and request for clarification. Kindly refer the clarification for the request as follows: Request: In LOT VIII: SEDAN CAR (5 SEAT AUTOMOBILE) the service area is listed all-region Woredas and Kebeles except Somalia region. But the service areas which are out of Addis Ababa (150km radius of Addis Ababa) the road accessibility is not suitable for this vehicle so how we give prices for those vehicles in price schedule form-c?Clarification: Please note that Sedan 5 Seat Automobile will be assigned to Asphalt roads that are suitable for such an automobile. In case gravel roads and/or difficult terrains only 4WD vehicles are considered. We are hoping this addresses your request. Thank you UNOPS Ethiopia Office

Kindly refer the clarification for the request as follows: Request: We are preparing the bid document in reference # ITB/2019/11476 and we want to know in Lot V , VI & VII, your good office request will be which one? A drop off only (one way service) Or a per day?Clarification: As clearly stated in the ToR, bidders must quote daily rate(s) for LOT(s) which they are interested as per the Form C – Price Schedule Form.
