United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter refered to as UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme Afghanistan office (UN-HABITAT) is seeking to establish Contract with a qualified contractor(s) towards the Construction of Water Supply Project (RCC Water Reservoir, Office Room, Guard Room, Pump House and Boundary Wall) - Lot A and Pipe Schemes, Valve Box & Tap Stands - Lot B in Herat , Afghanistan. Lot A - Construction of RCC Water Reservoir, Office Room, Guard Room, Pump House and Boundary Wall 1. Site Name: Saadat Township Location: Herat to Islam Qala road, Zenda Jan District (35km away from Herat city adjacent to Carpet Weaver Township) Before starting grading/earthwork operations, remove trash including foundations pavements, underground utilities and strip all vegetation in work area, including roots, and remove all this debris to a legal offsite disposal area. Any buried debris or other contaminated material exposed during subsequent earthwork operations should also be removed 2. Scope • This requirement is for Supplement Items of Water Supply Project (Pipe Schemes, Valve Box & Tap Stands) in Saadat Township for UN-HABITAT, Herat Afghanistan. The tender price shall include all labor, machinery and all materials necessary for the proper manufacture of the goods. All materials and tools required for the work to be supplied by the contractor. Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms. All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line. IMPORTANT: Please note that this REOI is not an invitation for submission of tenders. Its purpose is to identify eligible vendors that would be interested to participate in the related upcoming requirement. The complete detail of the requirement will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Submitting a reply to this REOI does not therefore automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for issuance of the solicitation documents. Only vendors who, in the UN's sole discretion, are deemed eligible and qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the EOI submissions, may receive the final tender solicitation documents. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.
