  1. Background
  1. The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. Each year, WFP assists some 80 million people in around 80 countries.

 

  1. The Communications, Advocacy and Marketing Division (CAM) is looking for a tool to unify our real-time brand monitoring needs. We are in the process of upgrading the monitoring and evaluation system and aligning to Association for Monitoring and Evaluation (AMEC) principles and framework. WFP requires a tool to standardize metrics and monitoring across locations and channels and allow us to have a global view of our brand, but at the same time have some flexibility for local teams across countries and languages adapt to changing circumstances autonomously. Most importantly is the need to add services to track issues and be agile in our reputation monitoring and crisis response..  To this end, WFP will issue a tender process for the following services:

 

  1. Online monitoring across channels (media and social media) and issues tracking 
  2. Social media monitoring and analysis
  3. Influencer identification and monitoring
  4. Analysis and Reporting
  5. Distribution to media outlets

The abovementioned required services will be divided in diverse job lots. The supplier will provide highly qualified services in support of all, part or just one job lot.

  1. WFP invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing the Services.
  1. The purpose of this EOI
  1. The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified capacity to provide the services. Eligible suppliers will be invited to participate in the bidding process for the proposed tender.
  2. After the deadline for submission of responses has passed, WFP will evaluate responses received and will notify eligible participants of the outcome of the evaluation.

 

  1. How to prepare and submit your Expression of Interest

 

  1. In order to participate in the pre-qualification exercise, companies are required to provide the following:
  • EOI Response Form;
  • Supplier Background Check Form (Annex 1);
  • Supplier Financial Status Form (Annex 2);
  • Signatory.
  1. All supporting documentation listed above shall be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided and sent to HQ.Tenders@wfp.org .. The deadline for response to this request for EOI:

15 October 2019, 16:00 hrs CET
