As per the TC, warranty clause shall be minimum 1 Year but maximum was not specified, Please clarify.A13.1 Per the General Conditions of Contract for goods (4.5.6), (Link provided in Section IV) partly state, "All warranties will remain fully valid following any delivery of the goods and for a period of not less than one (1) year". Bidders are required to meet this requirement. Bidders are also expected to provide industry standard warranty for items offered.Q13.2. We shall not supply Only Accessories and spare parts. Complete Order to be supplied. Pease confirmA13.2. Bidders are required to submit bid according to the ITB requirement. Partial bids shall not be allowed. Bidders must quote prices for the total goods for the total requirement.Q13.3. Please provide weight and dimension limitation of 50 KVA Three Phase Distribution Transformer. We consider details of 100 KVA for 50 KVA. kindly confirm.A13.3. Yes, the weight and dimension for 100 KVA is acceptable for 50 KVA.Q13.4. Refer to Tender Amendment-1_Section-II_Schedule fo requirements dt 02.10.19 for ITB No. ITB/2019/11654- Supply of Transformers and Accessories for Rural Renewable Energy Programme in Sierra Leone. 1. Specific item no 3.07 (new)- Description- LV cable insulation material to be XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) of black colour, or equivalent. Q1: Item no 3.0.7 (new) description does not match with item no 3.5.1, 3.6.1, 3.7.1 & 3.8.1 cable insulation description for LV cables, kindly reconfirm the type of insulation requried is XLPE or PVC.A12. The XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) cable insulation material was amended mainly to define the medium voltage pre-configured cable requirement but for the item 3..0.7 (New) Low Voltage insulation cable requirement either XLPE or PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) is acceptable to fulfil the requirement as particularly defined in the specific item material requirement relating to item 3.51, 3.6.1, 3.7.1 and 3.8.1.

New clarification added: Q9. Item no 5.10-Seals and all other recommended spare parts. Kindly provide detials for type of seals required for the distribution transformer. we understand at type of sealing provision using rubber seal inserted between tank cover, oil indicator, Flanges etc.A9. Bidders are required to provide the seals according to the main items (transformers) submitted.Q10. Will there be factory inspection and test? If yes, what test will be done at the factory? And who will cover the cost of travel expenses of UNOPS representatives to the factory?A10. Kindly see the details of inspection under Schedule II - Rechedule of requirement section D: Inspection and Test, which partly stated "The vendor must have the goods inspected in the manufacturer’s works by a competent authority and submit a test certificate and also a guarantee/warranty certificate that the goods conform to written specifications".Q11. Please refer to page 1/4 of the drawings, there is a short descriptive text. We specified the transformer to be mounted on two U-profiles of minimum 150mm height. The U-profiles should be on both sides of the poles (not to be provided by the bidder) and the poles to be clamped in between the U-profiles using 4 bolts.Q8c. LV Distribution Cabinet No-3.1.2-Decription-As per attached drawing and schematics. We understand that bidder has to propose the tentative GA with SLD for the LV dist Cabinet. New clarification added: Q2. Can you please share the requirement/SLD of the LV cabinets (incoming/outgoing lines)A2. Kindly refer to the drawings page 4/4 where we added the SLD and incoming/outgoing lines. The drawings was attached under amendment. See Amendment 1 for details.Q3. Provide the fuse dimension and voltage rating in line # 5.11 to 5.21A3. Please refer to item 3.4 for the specification of the fuse holder, the LV (low voltage) fuse links 5.11, 5.12, and 5.13 must be compatible. Fuse type should “NH” or blade-style or knife-type fuse links. The maximum rating of the fuse holder (item 3.4) is 160A. For the LV Main incoming breaker (item 3.3) the maximum current is 250A which corresponds to NH0 size fuses. Please also refer to the drawing on page 4/4 for additional illustration. Item of reference for the MV (medium voltage) fuse links is item 4.2. Fuse links in lines 5.17 to 5.21 must be compatible. Rated voltages for LV and MV are defined in lines 0.3 and 0.4. Fuse voltage ratings must be appropriate (higher) compared to the rated grid voltages.Q4. Can you please consider extending the bid submission date?A4.
