Description
The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) requires a comprehensive international property and liability insurance program to be in place with effect from 01 December 2019 covering one (1) year term initially. The IRMCT hereby seeks Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced broker firms to indicate their interest to participate in a tender for the services. The IRMCT comprises two (2) branches, i.e. one in The Hague, Netherlands, and the second in Arusha, Tanzania. Furthermore, it has a field office in Kigali, Rwanda, belonging to the Arusha branch, and a field office in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, belonging to the Hague branch. The broker must be in the position to fulfil the following requirements: (a) Manage the information gathering, specification and tendering process for all the required insurances. (b) Advise the IRMCT on the best and most cost effective insurance solution for its needs. (c) Ensure that the required insurance cover is in place from 01 December 2019. It is important that the broker firm has dealt with international organisations with similar needs within the last five (5) years and has extensive and recent experience of managing the procurement process. The IRMCT would like to issue a one year contract with an option for one further year through to 2021, (subject to satisfactory performance). It shall be noted that detailed requirements/specifications will be provided in the solicitation document. Please note that responding to the EOI does not guarantee your company will be invited to the forthcoming tender that will be issued. A list of companies to be invited will be established subsequent to the review and analyses of the responses to this EOI exercise. Please submit your response to this EOI by e-mail or fax using the attached response form. All responses will be kept strictly confidential. The IRMCT reserves the right to change or cancel this request for EOI at any time.
