Outsourced Security Guard Services, ICC Bangui Field Office (CAR)

It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (ICC) located in The Hague, The Netherlands, will shortly be issuing a solicitation on the provision of Outsourced Security Guard Services to the ICC Field Office in Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR). In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms.

Scope of Work

A general threat assessment for an ICC field office necessitates a provision of security guards to provide guarding of the premises, reception, screening and escort of all persons, deliveries and vehicles arriving at these premises.  It is a security concept similar to that which is typically used in facilities operated by the United Nations (UN) or similar organisations and is intended to prevent persons entering the field office and bring in prohibited items, such as firearms, explosives, or other weapons which may endanger staff, witnesses and accused persons or otherwise adversely impact on the daily functioning of the Court’s activities.  In practical terms, there is a requirement for outsourced security guards to be deployed to control access to the field office and to screen persons entering the building by verifying their identity and using appropriate security equipment provided by the ICC.

The detailed scope of work will be given under the Request for Proposal document that will be sent to the firms who reacted to this EOI.
