Supply, delivery and installation of Volleyball and Basketball sporting equipment to be used in an indoor sporting facility that is currently being constructed in Belize City, Belize. The Facility will be approximately 2000 m2 to seat a capacity of around 900 fans. The facility will be able to have two main courts, one for basketball and one for volleyball for main events that can be split in two practice courts each for a total of 4 courts.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. New clarification added: Scoreboards and Shot Clocks - as the project have requested wireless use of the scoreboards we will supply wireless receivers for every one. These receivers are linked to a wireless controller unit. However the 1 unit can control more than one scoreboard as well as shot clocks so please advise how many controllers you will require as part of the tender. We assume maybe 1 for the main basketball scoreboards and shot clocks, 1 for the volleyball main scoreboard and then 1 for the smaller scoreboards. New clarification added: Please indicate us if is not problem to quote the electrical motors for the basketball folding system in 220 voltios AC.And indicate us if there is possible to do a previous visit to the site. ANSWER: The facility has access to both voltages.

New clarification added: Smaller Scoreboard - we are struggling to find a scoreboard with enough info on it that is only 2' x 2'. Please confirm if a small scoreboard of around 8' x 3' would be acceptable, despite the tolerances outlined in the requirements.ANSWER: Kindly refer to Amendment No1.

New clarification added: Voltage - please confirm if the power in the gym is rated at 120V or 220V AC.ANSWER: The facility has access to both voltages, however 120V would be acceptable.

New clarification added: Please ignore last clarification request - the number of floor sleeves 912) suggests you need 6 courts in totalANSWER: Kindly refer to Form C: Price Schedule Form for the number of courts. Only 8 sleeves will be installed, the other are spares.

New clarification added: Volleyball - please confirm that the quantities requested are for 6 courts in total - so when you refer to 4 practice poles and 2 match poles you actually mean 4 sets and 2 sets - to make 6 courtsANSWER: The quantity requested for Lot 13 is four (4) poles (2 pair) and Lot 14 is two (2) poles (1 pair).

New clarification added: Delivery:We note that this time aorund the tender has been split with every item in its' own separate Lot. We accept this in terms of the UN's ability to pick and choose what items to award but it does make calculation of delivery charges difficult.Ordinarily we would just allow for a total price for shipping and then split it accordingly between all items, but that is not as accurate when everythign is in its' own lot. Does the UN therefore wnat us to calculate delivery for each individual lot and then perhaps provide a discount on delivery of USD X if all lots are awarded together?ANSWER: Kindly follow Form C: Price Schedule Form.

New clarification added: Scorers Table - please note that usually a 12' long scorers table will only seat 6 scorers comfortably. Please confirm if this is ok instead of 8 scorers.We would also like to add that the supplier we are in touch with feels it may be excessic=ve to have a 12ft, 6 scorer table - please confirm if an 8ft, 4 seater table would be acceptable.ANSWER: Kindly refer to Amendment No1.
