Description
1. Background It is anticipated that the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia will shortly be issuing an "Request for Proposal" to procure Gardening and Landscaping Services from a contractor/s with valid license. Hence, the UNECA hereby request qualified contractor/s to express their interest for the provision of Gardening and Landscaping Services to all existing UNECA facilities. The firm must have relevant experience and capacity to provide proven services for the maintenace of Gardens and Landscaping Works. The total Garden area that will be covered by the contract resulting from RFP is about 44,623 squre meter. It is UNECA's intent to have Long Term Agreement (LTA) with a qualified contractor. Interested firms will be invited to the tender by “Request for Proposal” (RFP) at a later stage. This tender envisages selection of a single or more contractors to provide Gardening and Landscaping Services. Please note that the UNECA is precluded from entering into contract with a firm that is not fully registered with UNGM. Those interested in responding to this invitation but not currently fully registered as vendors with UNGM, are encouraged to register before submission of the bid.
