Provision of Mobile and Data Services for UNSOS in Somalia (SA)

The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS), is seeking qualified Vendors for the Provision of Mobile and Data Services for UNSOS in Somalia, including Somaliland and Puntland. These services would form an integral part of the Mission's communications infrastructure and must be reliable and able to handle the volume of traffic of the Mission. The Scope of Requirement includes but not limited to the below. Cellular Services: Proposers are to describe the offered services. Proposers are also to indicate whether they would be able to offer: i) Calls to other telephony service providers within Somalia; ii) Closed User Group operation of up to 1,000 numbers; iii) Country wide cellular coverage; iv) International Roaming and ability to block roaming; v) Itemized billing where voice, data and SMS/MMS charges can be differentiated; vi) Ability to block international access; vii) Limiting of expenditure to a pre-determined amount for each line. Mobile Fixed Data Services: Proposers should detail mobile internet packages offered with full description, technical information and cost, and must Indicate whether mobile data service can be accessible from/through mobile phones, data modems and data terminals, and if they offer options to manage these services, such as restricting access to limited range of internet sites etc.
