Arcitectural Services for the design, project managment and construction supervision of a data centre to be located at the UN Entebbe Support Base, Uganda.

1. The United Nations Entebbe Support Base, Uganda, in cooperation with the UN Procurement Division (UNPD) is seeking an Architectural /Engineering Company to provide the necessary professional services to design, provide techical evaulation of bids, project manage and supervise contruction of a two story data centre of 1200 square meters to TIA-942 standrds to be located at the UN Entebbe Support Base, Uganda. 2. Final design drawings must be made by a registered architect (as governed by the Architects Registration Act (1996) and a corporate member of the Uganda Society of Architects. The awarded contract will require design drawings, construction drawings, technical specificaions, Scope of Works (SOW) and a Bill of Quantities (BOQ). All construction and engineering drawings will be produced by an appropriately registered and gazetted engineer as per the Engineer Registration Act (1969). Full Project management and Quality Assurance services are required during the construction supervision phase of the building works to include the proofing of all as-built documentation provided by the construction contractor. The UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents, will be provided by the UN to all companies who respond to this EOI and are qualified for the tender. 3. Please note that no further detail of the planned solicitation can be made available for companies prior to issuance of the solicitation. NOTE: THE COMPANY SELECTED TO PERFORM THE ABOVE CONSULTANCY SERVICES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN FUTURE TENDERS REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE DATA CENTRE.
