5 Generator Sets

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a mandate to support the implementation of the Security Council Resolution 1701. As part of the Mission’s support programme, UNIFIL requires the following goods and/or services: Diesel powered, water cooled, three phase generating sets, of continuous power output as outlined in iso-8528-1, with remotely located radiator and parallel/synchronizing system with minimum of 1100 kVA "continuous/prime power" output. Quantity: 5 generator sets. Important note: These generators are required to replace the existing five Cummins generator sets which are electronically coupled in a parallel configuration through the synchronization panel for load-sensing and sharing. Due to a phased in/out replacement, the operational parameters of replacement generators requested must be fully compatible with the CUMMINS/STANDFORD 922 kVA 1991 and 1993 year manufacture. The United Nations wishes to identify companies that have the capacity to provide such goods and/or services to UNIFIL with projected troop strength of approximately 15,000. Expressions of interest shall include: (a) Company Profile; (b) List of previously completed and current contracts including volume and value of each contract; and (c) Company’s latest Financial Statement and a Certified Audit thereof. Interested companies shall submit such Expression of Interest and supporting documentations by hand or courier service to reach the above-mentioned address not later than close of business 14 Jan.
