Provision of French Translation Services

Services required Camera ready, i.e. fully revised, translation of United Nations documentation, including parliamentary documentation, publications and reports, on a wide variety of subjects from English and Spanish into French. Capacity to translate from Arabic into French would be an asset. The United Nations’ annual requirement for translation into French and related typing services by a contractor is estimated at approximately 3 million words. General requirements: - Thorough knowledge/understanding of the United Nations system; - Familiarity with United Nations terminology, publicly available at: http://unterm.un.org/ http://ods.un.org/ - Capacity to handle high-volume translation into French; - Significant past record of translation into French; - Familiarity/experience with the UN or other international organization documents.
