The United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) intends to launch a tender and to establish the Contract with a qualified Contractor who will provide the routine maintenance and servicing of the Integrated Security System (ISS) including security equipment and spare parts for UNMIK premises (Pristina, Mitrovica and Peja). The Integrated Security System (ISS) and security equipment consist of: • Perimeter Intrusion Detection System • Vehicle Access Control System (Automatic Rising Barrier, Under Vehicle Inspection System, Vehicle Traffic Signaling, Intercom System with License Plate Recognition Camera, Automatic Raise Arm Barrier) • Personnel Access Control System • BI-Folding automatic gates with lockdown mechanism • Automatic and centrally operable bulletproof door with lockdown mechanism, and bulletproof windows (Reception Area) • CCTV Surveillance System • Fire Detection System • Building Intrusion Detection System • Earthquake Detection System • Software enabling centrally and remotely control of the security systems equipment’s as described above. The interested companies shall commit to provide a level of support on the basis of 24 hours 7 days a week (24/7) (directly or through sub-contractor) in Kosovo, to be able to respond to system failures and required maintenance. The Contract will be initially for one (1) year period, with an option of extension for additional two (1+1) year periods. Note: This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNMIK reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
