Provision of Language Translation and Interpretation services

Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent companies to undertake Language Translation and Interpretation services in support of Public Information and Training activities for the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM), the United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM), and the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS). UNSOS seeks to engage services of a qualified service provider with broad quality resources to provide multilingual translation and interpretation services at the locations specified in Services shall be required in the core languages – Somali, English, French, Amharic, Arabic, Kirundi and Swahili. UNSOS intends to enter into an agreement for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for additional two (2) one-year periods ( 1+1+1) subject to satisfactory performance at the discretion of UNSOS. The duration of each quarterly assignment is three weeks (21 calendar days) per contract year. Services under this contract shall be required in the following areas: Somalia: Sector 1: Mogadishu, Afgooye, Marka, Barawe, Qoryoorey Sector 2: Dhobley, Afmadow Sector 3: Baidoa, Huddur, Burhakaba, Dinsoor Sector 4: Beletweyne, Jalalaqsi, Mahas, Bula Burto Sector 5: Jowhar, Balcad, Mahaday, Bio Adde Sector 6: Kismayo Kenya: Nairobi Ethiopia: Addis Ababa Uganda, Djibouti and Burundi
