The hospitals shall be licensed, private or public. The Contract(s) shall be for an initial period of three years with the UNFICYP's sole option to extend the term of the contract for an additional two (2) periods of one year each (3+1+1). The medical services shall be provided by licensed hospitals and shall include but not limited to the following: • emergency care services; • out-patient specialist services; • surgical services; • in-patient ward services including post-operative and intensive care services; and • diagnostic and treatment services. 2. Licensed hospitals shall have appropriate and suitable facilities and specializations to provide multidisciplinary surgical services, specialist services and specialist diagnostic services, increased high - dependency care capacity, extended intensive care services and specialist outpatient services. 3. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify hospitals that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise and are requested to express their interest by providing all relevant information using this Vendor Response Form, also available in our website www.unficyp.org. The interest should be sent to the attention of Stella Kitti, Procurement Assistant, either via fax +357-22-614493 or via email unficyp-procurement@un.org no later than Friday, 19 January 2018. Following the submission of the Expression of Interest, UNFICYP may request medical facilities to provide further information on their personnel, bed, laboratory, blood bank and ambulances capacity, amongst others. 4. The UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. The UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. 5. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Interested vendors are strongly recommended to submit the required documentation at the United Nations Global Marketplace at www.ungm.org for Level 01 registration.
