Description

UNICEF is basing its external communications over the next few years on rapid, bold, authoritative, innovative and proactive evidence based messaging in line with its equity focus. The shift in focus is therefore from simply providing information to our key audiences to public advocacy – a deliberate process, based on demonstrated evidence, to directly and indirectly influence decision makers, stakeholders and relevant audiences to support and implement actions that contribute to the fulfillment of children’s and women’s rights.

UNICEF now seeks to engage an institutional contractor to provide editorial and social media monitoring for both local and international mentions as follows:

  • keep track of breaking news about posts, electronic and print media relating to identified key words below on a daily basis.
  • Identify news and social media trends on a daily basis.
  • Provide online media monitoring of Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and blogs to deliver daily alerts, insights and opportunities both locally and internationally
