Description
1.0 United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit proposal for the Provision of Dedicated high speed internet for UNAMI Compound in Baghdad Green Zone, Iraq with the initial contract of one (1) year and a possible extension of one (1) more year, subject to continuation of UNAMI mandate in Iraq, availability of funds and satisfactory performance by the prospective contractor(s).
2.0 UNAMI requirement can be summarized as follows:
2.1 Provision of Dedicated high speed internet Capacity of 100/100 mbps in UNAMI HQ Baghdad inside IZ with 24/7 remote technical support; availability of SLR of minimum 99.5 with agreement stated in proposal submission and provide dedicated monitoring site/tolls for UNAMI..
2.2 Have the ability to provide Primary last mile method via Fiber optic Cable terminated in UNAMI HQ Baghdad, Secondary link must be delivered via MW link, MW equipment must with Licensed frequency and can carry minimum capacity of 200mbps (vendor to provide full details of the equipent. UNAMI expects MW of renowned manufacturer that provides reliable and uninterrupted services.)
2.3 Provision of minimum of 14 usable Global IP Addresses for this circuit i.e. /28 subnet.
2.4 Ability to provide the required CPE router for load balancing and failover purposes in case of one of the links fails down. (Renowned routers with high throughput is required)
2.5 Ability to provide full details related to their backbones ( domestic and International backbones/routes). Prefer that the ISP have at least 2 main backbones/International border circuits to ensure uninuterrupted service.
2.6 Provision of ping test and trace-route to the global DNS over all available backbones.
2.7 Ability to provide the required band that are free of any ports/protocols restrictions such as IPSEC VPN, VIOP Ports, etc..
2.8 Acceptance of service will be only after the Circuit Test under supervision of UNAMI Network Team.
3.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) with detailed specifications and SOW to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement.
4.0 Please note the following:
4.1 This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal.
4.2 UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for an document.
4.3 UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
